Sinds 2008 organiseren wij jaarlijks de Nationale Wereld Gehandicapten Dag met opbrengst van de jaarlijkse Rotterdam Swim in hartje Rotterdam.

Achilles Trackclub
Van 2005 tot 2015 was Erik Van Loon ook jarenlang vrijwilliger voor de Achilles Trackclub in New York. Zie hier zijn interview met Dick Traum de oprichter van de Achilles Trackclub.
Thema’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Sinds 2018 wordt in Nederland door Stichting Gdag op de International Day Of Persons With Disabilities aandacht besteed aan de positie van gehandicapten aan de hand van verschillende thema’s. Als stichting proberen wij daar elk jaar zo goed als mogelijk invulling aan te geven. Zodat wereldwijd dezelfde thema’s aan bod komen.
